Patrice is a French artist living and working in Tallinn. Discover art of painting lately, patrice use to play with colors as hair stylist and colorist in his hair salon. Painting on canvas is new way of expression in a large open playground. Impressionism in movement and spontaneous, brushstroke translate energies, and colorful sharp contrasts. Inspiration appears from new textures, revealed in various support mixed acrylic with sand, hair, oil, hair spray, gloss, water etc...
Playing with primary colors and mixing them together, this is my way to express emotions, create movements, feeling energy through my eyes.
Vibrance are laid on the canvas, but actually start with colorful thoughts, like a flash, intense, instant and clear.
From that moment I can start to build the background, blending the paint finds the right tones and textures.
Yes, the first step is reached, the materials need to rest and dry off...some days at least...
Now comes the time to observe, to read the expression and enhance the vibrance, the lights and shadows, the matt and shine, the bold and delicate...
