Come and Look at Me! "Come and Look at Me" is an expression of the senses... "Come" invites you for a first contact, the move to feel the texture of skin, it is there where you smell the soul of others. But "Look at me" with your eyes, and you will see through it... your truth. But is your truth as mine? How to be sure? Observe the regard and look at it until you are touched from it!. On this painting I have used acrylic mixed with varnish and pure pigments to create a pastel and soft background. I then played with asymmetric and disproportionate expressions of volume and shadows. Then used pure thick multicolored oil brushstrokes to create the moves, vibrances and emotions. Portrait 80 x 120 acrylic and oil on canvas, acrylic, varnish.
“All from my depth”, The depth, to go where and to get what...? Look inside of yourself and bring out your light, It shines from your darkness. Take the risk to shine! The strong contrast and nuances of green and yellow background are used by primary acrylic white, yellow and green colors. Then the very diluted oil dark green surface is close to black lines in order to create perspective and depth. The lemon-yellow cross the fruity lime tones. The shine, the gloss, the texture awake an acidulous result! Portrait 80 x 120 acrylic and oil on canvas. Oil, acrylic, varnish, hair.
“I am There!” You are here and I am there... You stay in front of me, but I am already away... You want it from me, you can get it.... Follow the line, follow me, you are my lemon lime, your neons on me! "I am There" is a sister of "All from my depth" The contrast is not so sharp even if the primary colors are the same. White, yellow and green acrylic are diluted individually in order to create softening, soothing, and hopefully peace... When you look at it, your heart rate goes slowly, you are resting. Portrait 80 x 120 acrylic and oil on canvas. Oil, acrylic, varnish, hair, hairspray.
The Pink Flight! The pink, the soft pink, the blurry pink, intensively pink, or baby pink or blue-ish pink, the thick pink and the chic pink. Whatever the pink, pink is expensive. White, blue, green and a dash of pink and you fly vertically! Flashing and intense colors, white, red, blue, green primary colors are used for the "Pink Flight". Diluted or not and almost not mixed together, it results sharp contrast, saving original tones, keeping texture in eyes and allowing a vibrance boosting your pulse. Landscape 80 x 120 acrylic and oil on canvas. Oil, acrylic, varnish, hair.
The Green Flight; Olives, Leaves, Zucchini, Your greens inspire me... Flash, matt, smoothly, You mean impressive... Growing to the sky The Green Flight... The idea of "The Green Flight" is to play with opposite textures and family tones. The olive green on the edges is still quite matt, contrasting the juicy watermelon shades. On the top, the intensive Bordeaux rose fade into joyful light pink shadows. In that moment the white drops illustrate the movement of the flight as it flighs high! From my book came a dream, I found the words and I read it,.. The story is real, the breeze is coming, the wind comes suddenly and confuses all your needs... The squall has decided we have to accept it! The Latest Squall is a dyptic, telling the story of what we are experiencing. It is a 3D work. The life is colorful with warm and cold patterns. But on the left page something strong shows the intense gusts coming from under and with it’s power exploding out of the solid and thick floor. The power is so strong that the block of color starts to fly off. Broken into a million pieces, it allows on the second page the hope to write a new story.
